1. Main Features:
1). File server: Support most popular OS on PC, includes Windows, MAC, Linux/UNIX. Support UTF character set, Simplified Chinese, Traditional Chinese, Japanese, Korean etc. Can be displayed simultaneously. Support files share with user account certification. Support user quota management.
2). FTP server: Support FTP server, user can access the NS700 through FTP over internet. NS700 adds FTP character set function(support UTFS, Simplified Chinese GB18030, Traditional Chinese BIG5).
3). Download server: Support excellent P2P download, support Torrent(BT), Donkey(eMule+KAD+Overnet), HTTP&FTR, support UPnP port auto-mapping to improve the performance of download, web-based operation program. Easy to add equipment and manage download tasks. Donkey supports adding Donkey servers manually and brings eMule account&intergral. Torrent supports some advanced features, such as, DHT download without server, encrypted translation protocols etc.
4). UPnP server: Support UPnP A/V protocol, music, photo and video stored in NS700 can be streamed to the UPnP digital media player(DMA) directly, and also support the terminals including xBox340, PS3, Nokia N-series mobile phone, Syabas system player, HD-DVD player and BD-DVD player. Real digital home center!
5). One touch backup: Support one button backup. Contact USB device to the USB port in front panel, press the backup button after the LED light on, the files on the USB device will be backup to NS700. No PC needed. The LED will keep blinking till th backup finished.
6). ITunes server: Support iTunes. Digital music stored in NS700 can be streamed and played by MAC PC, the digital music can also be transmitted to Apple iPod, iPhone and 3G iPhone.
7). Print server: Support print server. Print server will automatically start when an USB printer connect. PCS in the network can share the print service via NS700.
